Welcome to Kingdom of God Communes! Please check out the rough draft of our paper on the communal teachings in the Bible and give us feedback. The link is here: Unless-He-Gives-up-All-His-Possessions

This is a site dedicated to presenting arguments for communal living as the ideal kingdom of God on earth and showing that it is the movement that Yeshua (Jesus) started. In addition, we wish to gather those willing to participate in this movement. The final goal is either to make a commune that will self-replicate into a network of communes or find a commune to join that will do such.  We wish to be part of a church like that of Acts 2:44-47 and Acts 4:33-35.

We also want to gather critiques of our ideas to strengthen our arguments and lead us closer to the truth so we welcome you even if you don’t agree with us. Isn’t that crazy!

We plan to have posts on a variety of different controversial topics and authors with a number of unusual opinions to make sure we attract open-minded people and can better evaluate how to live as believers. Keep in mind, many posts do not reflect the majority view on this site nor sometimes even the author’s own opinion (e.g. paraphrases of Herb’s lectures when the author doesn’t have time to note the things they disagree with). If you want to become a writer for the blog contact us on the forums in this topic:  “Post here if you want to write for our site” We would like you to be involved in as many ways as possible.

The first parallel is for the purpose of showing that sometimes the word “nations” (gentiles) was used to refer to the lost tribes of Israel from the northern kingdom also called “Ephraim:” Romans 11:25 Young’s Literal Translation (YLT)25 For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, of this secret — that ye may …

Jesus and Taxes

I’m not arguing that what Jesus said then is applicable to our situation today since the Herodians were different (and worse) than our government. Herod was actually divinely executed for starting to accept that he was God (an anti-Christ) in Acts 12:22-23. Here’s some other evidence I think shows people have misread “give unto Ceasar”: …
